Great value
This rack is excellent for the cost, about a third of the Thule and Yakima aftermarket racks I have found. Also, from a usability standpoint, these are far better than the usual crossbars that end at the flush rail: you can much more easily tie-down items on the rack when a bar extends past the bracket. As a retired builder, this is critical to tie down plywood or lumber. The bars are quite flat, with only a slight camber(however, one had more than the other, a production error).
In drove for the first time on the highway today; at 70 mph there wasn't any loud additional noise. Slight whistle that could probably be prevented if they had sent enough sealant molding for the underside of the track, one molding being far shorter than the other.
Typically the directions are the pictograph kind without any words. WHY! Putting the base brackets together was quite complicated, made more so by substitute parts added to the package that appeared exactly the same. Don't mix them up. Lastly, there isn't a way to permanently set the bracket to the rail such as a set-screw. The under rail molding would hold it in place...if they had sent enough molding!
All in all, this is a great value made unfortunately difficult to assemble and install for the first time. Mark your bracket locations.
